Create a Product

Select Your Catalog

• On the Catalog page, click on the catalog tab where you want to add products. [Screenshot: Catalog tabs with one selected/highlighted]

• The catalog's products will be displayed. If it's a new catalog, you'll see an empty state with an Add Product Item button. [Screenshot: Empty catalog product area]

Open the Create Product Form

• Click the Add Product Item button (or the + Add Items button). [Screenshot: Add Product Item button highlighted]

• A side panel will slide in from the right with the product creation form. [Screenshot: Product creation form side panel open]

Upload a Product Image (Optional)

• Click on the image upload area at the top of the form. [Screenshot: Product image upload placeholder]

• Select an image file from your device.

• The image preview will appear once uploaded. [Screenshot: Uploaded product image preview]

Tip: High-quality product images significantly increase customer engagement. Use clear, well-lit photos that accurately represent what customers will receive.

Enter Product Details

• In the Product Name field, enter the name of your item (e.g., "Classic Cheeseburger," "Deluxe Suite," "Wireless Headphones"). [Screenshot: Product Name field filled in]

• In the Product Description field, provide details about the item. Include key features, ingredients, or specifications. [Screenshot: Description textarea filled in]

• In the Price field, enter the item's price as a number (e.g., 45.00). Don't include currency symbols. [Screenshot: Price field filled in]

• Toggle the Availability switch to ON if you want this product to be available for ordering right away. Turn it OFF if the item is out of stock or not yet ready. [Screenshot: Availability switch highlighted]

Note: You can quickly enable or disable products without deleting them. This is useful for managing seasonal items or handling temporary stock issues.

Create the Product

• Review all product details to ensure accuracy.

• Click the Create product button at the bottom of the form. [Screenshot: Create product button highlighted]

• You'll see a success notification confirming the product was created. [Screenshot: Success notification toast]

• Your new product will now appear in the catalog's product grid. [Screenshot: Product grid showing the newly added product]

Add More Products (Optional)

• To add more products to the same catalog, click the + Add More Items button. [Screenshot: Add More Items button]

• Repeat the previous steps for each product you want to add.
