View or Read Orders

  • The Orders page displays all orders for your venue, organized by status. [Screenshot: Orders page showing order cards in grid layout]

Filter Orders by Status

At the top of the Orders page, you'll see filter buttons:

  • All: Shows all orders regardless of status

  • Pending: New orders waiting to be processed

  • Processing: Orders being prepared (includes "Processing" and "Ready" statuses)

  • Completed: Finished orders (includes "Completed," "Failed," and "Refunded")

Click any filter button to view only orders with that status. [Screenshot: Order filter buttons]

Tip: Start each shift by checking "Pending" orders first. These are your new incoming orders that need immediate attention.

Understanding Order Cards

Each order card shows:

  • Order Number: A unique system generated identifier (e.g., #0RD1234 #VEN-439da'85)

  • Customer Name: Who placed the order

  • Order Status Badge: Visual indicator of current status (color-coded)

  • Entry Point: Where the order originated (e.g., Table 5, Room 201)

  • Order Items: List of products ordered with quantities

  • Total Amount: The order's total price

  • Order Time: When the order was placed

  • Payment Status: Whether payment has been received

View Detailed Order Information

  • Click anywhere on an order card. [Screenshot: Clicking on an order card]

  • A detailed order information panel will open showing:

    • Customer contact information

    • Complete item list with prices

    • Order breakdown (subtotal, taxes, fees, total)

    • Payment method and status

    • Staff member who served the order

    • Special customer notes (if any) [Screenshot: Order details panel open]

  • Click the X button or outside the panel to close it.

Tip: Update statuses promptly to keep customers informed. Many customers appreciate knowing when their order is ready.
