What this feature does

Account deletion permanently removes your entire Servinn account along with all associated data. This includes your profile information, all venues you've created, your complete order history, payment records, staff accounts, menu catalogs, reports, and every other piece of information connected to your account. This action cannot be undone or reversed - once deleted, your data is gone forever and cannot be recovered.

Who it is for

This feature is only available to account owners who have decided to stop using Servinn completely. This is not a feature for removing individual venues (you can do that from the Venue Management section instead) or for taking a temporary break from the service. Account deletion is a final decision that should only be made by business owners who are certain they want to permanently close their Servinn account.

When to use it

You might consider deleting your account in these situations:

  • Closing your business permanently: If you're shutting down your business operations entirely and no longer need the service

  • Switching to a different platform: If you've decided to move your business to another management system and want to remove your data from Servinn

  • Privacy concerns: If you want to completely remove all your business information from the platform for any reason

  • Consolidating accounts: If you accidentally created multiple accounts and need to remove duplicate ones (though merging is usually a better option - contact support first)

Key concepts

Permanent Deletion: Unlike many actions in the dashboard that can be undone, account deletion is permanent. There is no "undo" button, no way to restore your data, and no recovery process. The system is designed this way to respect your privacy and ensure your data is truly removed.

All Associated Data: When your account is deleted, everything goes with it. This includes all venues under your ownership, every order ever placed, all payment history, staff member accounts you created, your entire product catalog, all reports and analytics, customer order history from your venues, and entry point configurations.

Confirmation Process: To prevent accidental deletions, you must type the word "delete" exactly and check a confirmation box acknowledging that you understand the action cannot be undone. This two-step confirmation ensures you're making a deliberate, informed decision.

Immediate Effect: Once you confirm deletion, the process begins immediately. You'll be signed out and will no longer be able to access your account. Your venues will stop accepting orders instantly, and any active entry point links or QR codes will stop working.

No Partial Deletion: You cannot delete just some of your data while keeping other parts. Account deletion is all-or-nothing. If you only want to remove specific venues or pause operations temporarily, use the venue management features instead.

Any staff accounts you created will also be deleted as part of the account deletion process. Staff members will lose access to your venues and all associated data. If these staff members have their own separate Servinn accounts for other businesses, those remain unaffected. It's courteous to inform your team before deleting your account so they're not surprised by the sudden loss of access.

Account deletion does not automatically trigger refunds. If you have concerns about billing or believe you're entitled to a refund, contact Servinn support before deleting your account. Once your account is deleted, resolving billing matters becomes much more difficult.

Yes! If you only want to remove a specific location while keeping your account and other venues active, use the Venue Management section instead. You can delete individual venues without affecting your main account. Only use account deletion if you want to remove everything permanently.
