Registration & Onboarding
Let's walk through getting your account set up step by step.
Sign Up for Servinn
Visit the Servinn signup page and you'll see a simple form asking for:
Your email address
First and last name
Phone number
A secure password (at least 8 characters)
Fill in your information honestly and accurately. This email will be your login username, so use one you check regularly.
Click "Sign up" and you'll be logged into your new account automatically.
What happens next: You'll be taken directly to the onboarding process to set up your first venue. You can skip this and come back later if you're not ready.
Choose Your Business Type
During onboarding, you'll select what type of business you run. Servinn customizes its language to match your industry.
Hoteliers:
Hotel
Resort
Guesthouse
Food & Beverages:
Restaurant
Cafe
Lounge & Relaxation
Bar, Pub, or Spot
Retail:
Mart
Shopping Center
Store
Online Shop
Why this matters: After you choose, Servinn uses the right terms for your business. For example, hotels see "Bookings" instead of "Orders," and "Room Types" instead of "Menu Categories."
Fill Out Venue Details
Now you'll tell Servinn about your business location:
Name of Business: What customers know you as (e.g., "Sunshine Cafe," "Grand Palace Hotel," "Tech Store Ghana")
Country of Business: Where your business operates. This determines your currency and available tax rates.
Location (Address): Your physical address or general location. This helps with deliveries and gives customers confidence.
Business Description: A brief description of what you offer. This might appear on customer-facing pages, so write something friendly and inviting.
Example:
Name: "Seaside Grill Restaurant"
Country: Ghana
Location: "123 Beach Road, Accra"
Description: "Fresh seafood and grilled favorites with ocean views. Dine-in and takeout available daily."
Click "Complete"
Once you've filled in the details, click the "Complete" button. Servinn will create your venue and take you straight to your dashboard.
What happens after account creation:
Your venue is created and set as your default (main) venue
You're automatically added as the owner with full permissions
You'll see your dashboard for the first time — it will be mostly empty since you haven't added products or received orders yet
You can start setting up your catalog, entry points, and team
Already have an account? If you skipped onboarding, you can add your first venue anytime by going to the Venues section and clicking "Add New Venue."
